We truly can’t imagine our wedding without Mando. From the very beginning, she brought warmth, expertise, and a calming presence that carried us through every step of planning our wedding at Island Art & Taste. She took the time to really understand who we are as a couple, and because of that, every detail on the day felt so us. From providing details for and communicating with every vendor to sharing her local knowledge for extra events like welcome drinks and casual lunches, she was always ten steps ahead.
When rain was projected in the forecast and plans had to change with just 48 hours to go (including seating, ceremony layout, and set up timelines) Mando handled it all with calm, confidence, and efficiency. Her connections within the area secured us a tent with the earliest possible setup time, meaning there was still plenty of time to set up decor and keep our vision. When that chance of rain turned into a downpour and caused a late night power outage, Mando coordinated with our DJ and venue to solve the problem within minutes, and somehow still had glow sticks in hand to keep the energy high.
At the end of the day, Mando and her team were exactly who we wanted to be surrounded with during the planning and on our wedding day. She was available for every question (no matter how silly), drove us to tastings and floral meetings, and made us feel so supported and special on the day itself.
